Summer, Yoga, Self Care





~Happy Summer~

Are you feeling the busyness of Summer? Have you noticed an increase in plans and scheduling? Are you noticing your outside chores and maintenance adding up? Have you been traveling or spending more time with family and friends?

I have definitely felt the shift this past week as I am looking ahead at my schedule and coordinating all the opportunities that have presented themselves. It feels good to be out and about again, but this past year has taught me that it is important to also put myself into my schedule. It's so important to schedule some 'me time' and truly take time out of your day and/or week for a little self care. Self care can be whatever helps restore, reset, and rejuvenate your mind, heart, and soul. It can be 10 minutes of just sitting quietly, a leisurely stroll in nature, a yoga class, a massage.....the possibilities are endless and up to you.


As you plan for the week ahead, I encourage you to pencil in some 'me time' and really write it into your schedule. It is really nice to see this on the calendar and gives me a sense of ease when I see it amongst all the other things on my plate. I can breathe because I know I am going to have an opportunity to restore, reset, and rejuvenate my mind, heart and soul. I hope this helps you feel the same :)
